Hello fellow seekers! This page outlines the policies I have for each type of creation that I typically recieve requests for. If what you're looking for isn't specificed, please look at my General Policies on the bottom of this page. Happy hunting!
BANNERS
Planning Stage Policies: I accept both existing banner designs and custom banner designs for creation with canvas or felt. If a custom design is desired, I will go through up to two (2) revisions in the design before I start charging extra.
Allergen Policy: It is your responsibility to alert me if you have allergies to any potential material I would be using (examples: wool, cotton, etc.) during the planning phase. Failure to do so will subject the work to the Allergen Disclaimer (below).
Payment Policies: Payment for extra revisions is due upon each revision request beyond the first two. A non-refundable down payment for materials is due upon agreement of the design. The rest of the payment is due upon completion of the piece.
Non-Payment Policies: If payment for the completed banner is not made within two (2) weeks, I will add the banner to my regular inventory for purchase. Once this occurs, down payments no longer count towards payment, and the piece much be purchased in full.
NECKLACES
Planning Stage Policies: Necklaces that I custom-make are unique, and involve much less solid planning than my other offerings. You will need to provide me a vibe that you are going for, as well as a list of materials and colors that you might like to see. If this is for a character, or if you want something to commemorate a personal story, you will also provide an excerpt for the person who will be wearing it. You have the option to choose the pendant you want to be the centerpiece, or simply give me examples of things you might like.
Allergen Policy: It is your responsibility to alert me if you have allergies to any potential material I would be using (examples: nickel, copper, etc.) during the planning phase. Failure to do so will subject the work to the Allergen Disclaimer (below).
Payment Policies: There are two policies, based on whether you are choosing the pendant or not.
If you want me to use a specific pendant, then EITHER you will need to acquire it and mail it to me, OR you will need to pay me a non-refundable advance on the cost of the pendant so I may aquire it. The cost of the rest of the necklace will be due upon completion.
If you allow me to pick the pendant, then the cost of the piece is due upon completion.
Non-Payment Policies: After the piece is completed, I will allow one (1) month to elapse, after which I will add the piece to my regular inventory for anyone to buy. Once this occurs, down payments no longer count towards payment, and the piece much be purchased in full.
PAINTINGS AND CHARCOAL ART
Planning Stage Policies: Paintings and charcoal pieces will have a discussion of size, materials, and design, after which the basic desing elements will be sketched in a (possibly very) rough draft. I will allow three (3) revisions of the design before I start charging for more revisions.
Allergen Policy: It is your responsibility to alert me if you have allergies to any potential material I would be using (examples: types of paint, protective agents, etc.) during the planning phase. Failure to do so will subject the work to the Allergen Disclaimer (below).
Payment Policies: A one-half non-refundable down payment is due upon agreement of the design and materials, and the remainder due upon completion of the piece.
Non-Payment Policies: If payment for the completed piece is not recieved within two (2) weeks, I will add the piece to my regular inventory to be sold. Once this occurs, down payments no longer count towards payment, and the piece much be purchased in full.
GENERAL POLICIES
Planning Stage Policies: I accept custom work requests for many types of work, as long as the style of the piece fits within my general style. A discussion will be had about the design as well as my ability to fulfill it, and design work will not begin until I am confident in my ability to meet your needs. Designs of a piece can go through up to two (2) revisions.
Allergen Policy: It is your responsibility to alert me if you have allergies to any potential material I would be using (examples: wool, metals, woods, etc.) during the planning phase. Failure to do so will subject the work to the Allergen Disclaimer (below).
Payment Policies: In general, for most pieces I will ask for a non-refundable half payment down before work begins.
Non-Payment Policies: If payment for a completed piece is not recieved within two (2) weeks, the piece will be added to my regular inventory to be sold. Once this occurs, down payments no longer count towards payment, and the piece much be purchased in full.
Allergen Disclaimer: I (Fox Heart Creations) am not responsible to Buyer or any other party for any injury (including but not limited to allergies) suffered as a result of the material composition of any product designed, manufactured, sold, or shipped to Buyer.
